We wne to the Children’s Museum Last year during the race and it was dead :) To the OP, I think that should be fine – especially if you go after the race starts.

Thanks! The traffic was actually very light! Of course, the zoo employee who told me the zoo would not be very busy was clearly wrong.

We went today too…I was freaked out when I saw the parking lot, but I think a lot of the cars were there for the race shuttle.
The zoo was busy, but not miserably so for us. Hope you had a fun day too! :)

We also went today! It was busy, but we had a good day. My son loved the elephants.
We didn’t even attempt the koalas. We will save that for during the week.

What Generation Are You???

So I promised my daughter and nephew I would take them to the zoo today. Am I crazy with all of the race traffic? I called the zoo, and a guy said I should be fine if I take 70 and get off at West Street.
Does anyone know? I live in Fishers. I don’t know what route people take from the north side when they go the race.
