UPDATE: Young Mamas meet up?

I am getting desperate to meet and make new friends in Indy. Anyone interested in planning some sort of Young Mama get together? I would really love to organize a Mom’s night out as well as playdates with the kiddos. Maybe like an under 30 thing? (No offense, I have a lot of fun with ALL the Indymoms, I guess I’m just hoping to meet some ladies with more in common!) If you are interested, just post and let’s get to it!

EDIT: Okay, since I’ve actually generated some interest I’m going to start making plans. As far as a Mom’s night out goes, what type of things do you like to do for fun? Should we go out to dinner somewhere, to the movies, what do you think? And for the playdate, I think that the cookout at Garfield Park last time was a great idea. Something where we can all meet and get to know each other. That way we get an idea of who’s close to us, and well it’s just kind of an icebreaker. I will work personally on that one, but help me out with the MNO!

EDIT: I have a girlfriend coming to town for a few days and I’m going to have her help me get something planned. I’m thinking for the MNO, if you ladies think we will have the time we could do dinner AND a movie? If not maybe just a big dinner at a restaurant? Or even a potluck and margaritas or something, my house could accomodate quite a few people, but its not as party-friendly as I’d like yet. (We just moved in in April.) As far as the big play date, I’m still working on the details. Garfield Park definitely seems the most reasonable. Would you want to bring your s/o as well? My schedule and mind are both open so let me know what sounds like fun to you!
