My oldest ds was 2 ths and youngest was 2.5 mths. I freaked out with my first one because he had rolled over in bed and was asleep on his tummy. I called the ped immediately to make sure he was ok. She said as long as they are the ones putting themselves on their tummy then they are ok because it means they are strong enough. We would put him on his back at night and find him on his tummy every morning.

Watch out mama! sounds like your gonna have your hands full.
Way to go Hadleigh!
I remember when my first son rolled over from belly to back and I got told that it was only a big deal if they roll over back to belly. What a way to ruin some excitment!

Wow! That is early!
My son was like this. He rolled at one month belly to back, I think because he HATED tummy time so much! After he rolled it was hard to get him to do any tummy time at all! People used to comment at how strong he was, like holding up his head, etc. I wonder if that had anything to do with why he turned so soon? Funny thing is, he didn’t do back to belly until 7 months! That’s a spread, huh?
My story is similiar to Scrappinmama’s. My son was 3 months old when he rolled and went from a back sleeper to a tummy sleeper. I, too, asked my Ped what to do and he said that there was nothing I could do and not to worry about it.

Last night Hadleigh rolled from her belly to her back. She did it twice!! Isn’t it a bit soon? She was born 6/24/08. When did your lil one roll over?
