I think I like that suggestion … only problem is … I’ve never been able to get pregnant, so with all his rejoicing I might get sent to live on the new couch when he discovers my trick.

Okay, so I’ve went and done it now. I’ve purchased (okay won an auction) for some living room furniture. That would typically not be a problem except:
A. I haven’t told my husband B. We just agreed to buy a new bed. I pushed him towards the more expensive one. C. He just spent some pretty change on my new camera for my birthday. Think Nikon D60 and some lenses. D. Oh yeah … our basement flooded and we now have to pay out a deductible. E. Did I mention I haven’t told my husband?
Now before I get slammed, I took on a job for just 1 month that is going to cover the cost of the bed and the furniture. So these purchases won’t affect our family budget, it will just make him queasy to see all this stuff coming in, especially now since we have our basement undergoing significant repairs.
Oh yeah … my husband, perhaps like many of yours, doesn’t like surprises.
Soooo … I think with certainty, I need to tell him soon. Any suggestions?
