Ivy Tech textbooks

Never done it before. What classes are you taking, what books are you needing? Actually first I guess I should ask, which campus are you out of?

i am at the lawrence campus. I am taking eng 111 math 044, math 050 and interpersonal communications. So I need all those books. Thanks for the reply

My last few semester I bought all of my books online from various sites. Just make sure you have the right edition. It is soooo much cheaper!

hmm… it’s been a while since I took all those. I know the Math books change just about every year, so be careful buying those, because they could be the wrong ones. I have Eng 111, but not sure if that was has changes either. I took it like 3 years ago. Find out exactly what the English one is and if I have the one you need I’ll just pass it on to you. PM me with that info, in case I forget to check back here. Are you taking these online? What are you going for?

Definitely buy them online if you can. I used to spend an hour each semester doing the math to figure out where I could get all my books the cheapest. Most times it turned out I could get them from http://www.ecampus.com the cheapest.

I have purchased mine before on craigslist. I have also bought on half.com. I am trying to find a book right now and on amazon it shows it has not even released yet. Err… guess I have to buy that one through the bookstore. What I have done is go to the bookstore, find the books that you need. Write down all the necessary info about them, even a descrip of the cover. Then find your craigslist person and make sure they match up.

What are going for? I have the math books – there are 2 that will get you all the way through 111. I also have ANP 101/102, Ivy 101, Psy 101. Pm me if you are interested.

I used to only get my books online when I was in college. It was way cheaper and you can still sell them back to your school at the end of the semester or whatever. I got mine off of ebay and amazon even though I got tired of amazong because they always took too long! I stuck with ebay towards the end of my college career though because I got the books faster and I liked the system better too!
