My hands down favorite love scene is from The Notebook… Cliche, I know… ;) The scene where they get off the boat, and he says, “It wasn’t over, it’s still not over!” And then you know what happens… ;)

Han Solo and Princess Leia in Star Wars. The scene in Last of the Mohicans where Unkas (spelling) pulls the girl away from the edge of the falls and holds her – great scene and very subtle. I’m sure I’ll come back to this post :)

Hands down the scene in “Gone with the Wind” where Rhett scoops up Scarlett and carries her up the stairs after telling her this is one night she is not turning him down. Oh my. That scene gets me every time.

I’m probobly the strange one here but for me it’s the scene in MR.& Mrs. Smith when they beat the crap out of eachother and then well you know, lol!

What are some of your favorite love scenes or romantic scenes in film? The kind that actually make you sweat a little, or make your heart beat a little faster, or put you in an amorous mood?
One of my favorites is a love scene with no lovemaking. It is in Witness during the scene where Harrison Ford happens to catch Kelly McGillis while she is bathing. The way he looks at her, and she looks at him, and then he looks down. And you know what they are thinking, and they know they can’t let IT happen. Wow. That scene really gets to me and speeds up my heart rate. Those two had amazing chemistry.
Another scene that actually has sex in it, is in The Piano where Harvey Keitel and Holly Hunter make love for the first time or it might be the second time, I can’t remember. For some reason that one gets me every time. It’s a good one in my opinion.
Anyone else have a favorite love scene from a movie they want to share? Excluding porn. :)
