Oh please! Bumps and bruises are part of growning up! My kids have all survived with out them. I wonder if those kids are going to have to wear knee pads just walk around outside! lol
Kelly Mommy to 4 kids, including twins!
hahaha….that one always makes me laugh. I tell my husband that I’m going to order him a “drinking helmet”.
The most important gift we can give our children and grandchildren is a world they would choose to inherit as opposed to one they are forced to endure.
You didn’t see Jack wearing his helmet last week?! LOL!
That really is taking things a bit far!
Oh, wait, my boy is calling me from his bubble!
Mom to Jack and Daniel . . . future NFL MVPs!
People tend to think I over child-proof our house but these helmets even make me cringe. I bet they don’t sell a whole lot of them.
BTW, if you are considering placing an order, right now they have free magazine subscriptions with orders $75+ and free shipping on orders $100+ The promo code for free shipping is: SHPFREBE

Speaking of kneepads, they also sell those for crawling.

Your kid has never fallen and gotten a huge goose egg, then you go to the store and get “the look” from everyone around you LOL This just protects you from “the look”
I remember when ds #1 was a baby and crawling. We saw those “knee” protectors at BRU. Dh and I cracked up over those, taking about over protective parents and kids are suppose to have rough knees. A couple of weeks later, mil was commenting on ds’ knees and he really needed something to protect them LOL
Nikki, Mommy to Lucas, Joey, & Annabelle Wife to Jeremy
This is funny but my nephew needs this LOL. He looks like Tommy Pickles on Rugrats with that bumpy head!
Having children is like wearing your heart on the outside.

ROFL!
I just figured Jack’s helmet wasn’t waterproof…
BTW, Daniel did a great job swimming outside his bubble. :)
Just got my magazine yesterday. I personally like the baby knee pads. That way when my 9 MONTH OLD goes sprawling for a volleyball he/she won’t get floor burns! WTH? LOL!

Tee Hee! Poor kid...
I don’t know if any of you receive the OneStepAhead catalogues, but they’re the baby/kids company that has all kinds of handy gadgets to make parent’s lives easier. There are some super cool things in there, but I have to crack up every time I see the “Crawling Helmet”.
The description:
Learning to crawl? Starting to walk? When baby is accident prone, the Bumper Bonnet prevents bumps, bruises, and tears. The soft, thickly-padded head covering acts as a protective cushion, shielding that delicate little head. Lightweight, with an adjustable chinstrap. Machine wash. One size fits babies 6-36 months. Imported. Colors may vary.
LMAO! Are they serious? Babies have been crawling and toddling for hundreds of thousands of years and miraculously our species has survived the bumps, bruises and tears of locomotion. NO! But now, we must wear a HELMET! [SIGH]
