"RE: Help with a bee sting I definitely second the Benadryl if you can tolerate it. Also, it sounds weird, but you..."

I just did this the other weekend. It works for that day, but the itch and swelling comes back in 24hrs.
A banana peel. My son got stung by a bee at the soccer field. A woman peeled a banana and wrapped the skin on it and told him to keep in on for 10-15 minutes. I’ll tell you it worked like a charm! I wouldn’t have believed it until I saw it.

I currently have a penny on the bottom of my toe! I am in my 5th hour, and tomorrow I’m off to Kings Island… that should be interesting! So far so good, but another post said it would return. I hope it doesn’t!!!

With the beginning of summer comes the blooming of trees, gardens and flowers, which in turn attracts bees and wasps of all kinds. But that is not the end of the worry of a sting. Many stings take place during the fall months. Reason being, bees and wasps are cold blooded insects and they linger around people and pets in order to absorb the body heat, therefore increasing the chances of getting stung for both. Last week, I witnessed a 4 year old girl with her hand and forearm swollen to her elbow, from a wasp sting that she received to her fingertip the day before. The sight of her hand and arm brought tears to my eyes because I knew that if she had had Baker’s Venom Cleanser available when she was stung, none of her discomfort would have elevated to that extreme point of swelling and discomfort. Our web site www.BeeStingCure.com has under gone some new additions worth taking a look at. Old news commentary video footage from 1988 has been added to YouTube.com/BeeStingCure and the link is available at our site.

I haven’t been stung since I was about 4 years old, but I got a doozy of one yesterday while walking through my yard! It’s on the bottom of my toe. My question is should I be concerned that it is still bothering me tonight? Even more so than last night. It is a little swollen, and has that itchy pain to it. The stinger is out (I actually flicked the damn thing and the stinger got stuck to my fingernail!). I did the old baking soda trick and applied ice a few times right away but have done nothing else. I’m sure it’s fine but any other suggestions?
Update FYI: I did the penny trick and it completely worked for me! It took the itch and sting away immediately and days later it has not returned. I will definitely recommend this to everyone!( I actually walked around and rode rides at Kings Island while it was on my toe!!)
