I found a-lot of the Rocker recalls too…and the Unicorn stick horse, LOL!

No, nothing! I am so sad. I just really hope dd doesn’t bring it up again. I went to 2 different Goodwills, and dd#2 pooped out for the third one, so I will try to get over there later today. But I am almost out of hope. This really sucks, I know how she is feeling with missing her loved animal. I had mine taken from me when I was in college(appearently my uncle loaned it to me when I was 3-ish….then I had it my whole life, and during a stay at my house, he was shocked to see it again and took it back!! I haven’t seen my Augie doggie since. Except one photo of me and my brother sleeping face to face, I was 5 he was 7 and Augie was in the middle!)

I have searched the internet and ebay, but have not found it. But, I have seen some really cute ones!
I was wondering, what if you bought her a new one, and then wrote a letter explaining that her unicorn is with a new little girl that really needed her? You could write it from a little’s girl perspective and that her mom is an IM and she saw your post on here. And that they thought to send her one since she gave hers to a little girl that REALLY needed it. Does that make sense?
Just an idea.

Oooo, that one is close. I am thinking she may go for that. Or in the very least, somehow get attached to the build-a-bear horse she made a few years ago.

We now do that too. DD has two FAVORITE things (a blanket “baby” and a baby doll also “baby”) We have three babies and two baby dolls. One at each grandmas! lol

A very close friend’s son has a care bear he is attatched to. Bear got lost and he had another bear that was exactly the same and it was acceptable to him. It is so hard when they lose their lovies. DD has a silky blanket that was mine when I was a baby. It was hardly used by me because it was my “backup.” Anyway, she misplaced it once and we had just been to the mall. I didn’t recall having it when we got back in the car so I called every store we visited. Finally, a few days later it turned up at home. A blanket fairy must have come because we practically tore the house up looking. I’ll keep my eyes out for one. I took a pic with my phone of the pic you posted so I remember what it looks like. With all these moms looking we’re gonna find it.

This is it!
UGHHH! I am going for Years Worst Mommy award and desperatly need help! Heres the jist, over a year ago my now 6yo dd and I were purging some of her “old” neglected toys. In my defense I did ask her if it was “good to go” before selling them, or donating to Julian Center. Forward to a few mornings ago, she comes in my room, tears streaming down her face, longing for her unicorn we got rid of!!! HUH? thats so not fair, she ok’ed letting him go. Guess I should have tucked him away for safe keeping since she did have an attachment to him for a long time. But I was pregnant and we needed space for new baby stuff.
Anyway, being the super mommy(and super guilty) I actually found him on ebay!! No freekin way, that is really the exact unicorn she had, only hers didn’t work(he sings, neighs). I bid $5 4 days ago and since then no one else bid. I pull up the auction tonight since it was closing just before 8pm so that we could see us win it! NOT SO!! At the VERY last minute some weezle OUT BID ME!!!!! I couldn’t even tell dd, she wouldn’t even get to sleep tonight knowing that she doesn’t get him.
So, I am desperate here, does anyone have this little guy tucked away in a closet somewhere?? He was originally purchased(or we got it as a gift) I think 3-4 yrs ago! Please, if you have one let me know.
