About Me:
I'm an elementary school teacher. I started my career in Texas as a bilingual education teacher which I loved. When I moved to Indianapolis in 2000, I was an English as a Second Language teacher. After doing that for three years, I missed having my own class. Now, I teach third grade and love it (most of the time).
I have two children. My daughter is three, and my son is 12 months. I am lucky to have three months off a year to spend with them but still feel guilty for working.
I enjoy reading, especially children's literature. Patricia Polacco is my favorite author! I like shopping which I don't have much time for these days.
I have liberal views on just about everything and consider myself to be very open-minded.
